I just got caught up into RL and completely left off my virtual life.

A lot went on. Some good things happened, some sad too. My pc finally crashed on me and I had to get it fixed and re-boot the poor thing. Fresh start, right? But I'm still here.There's going to be a MAJOR friend-cut sometime this month. Don't get upset if I'm cutting you out. I will cut just the ones that I never saw commenting at my entries and that just added me to lurk. And I'll probably set this journal to friends-only too. i't something I never really understood but I think it's time for me to do it. ;)

Today, November 5th is the birthday of one of the most amazing LJ friend I know, smores100 .

You know, even if we don't catch up that much lately, I really miss talking to you and our crazy comment-sessions on LJ too LOL

I'm using my friend Chiara's notebook at the moment and we're about to watch a movie (even if it's almost 1 in the morning and we'll have to get up at something around 8:30 to go fetch another friend at the airport LOL
Oh well, who cares.
Btw, Rome isw all windy and rainy right now. Very Forks, but not so very cool :D
The BIG EVENT (Rome Flm Festival, exclusive Twilight footage plus 15 mivutes of the movie, just to be speficip even if the ones of you reading my journal already knew) is in two days (I should say 1 though cause technically it's already Wednesday) and we simply can't wait.

As I already said, there'll be plenty of babbling and other fangirl activities later on, so right now I just want to let you know that I'm having  a great time here and see yu all soon!

So here I am.
I got back from my cruise on Sunday and kind of slept all the way through Monday and half of Tuesday LOL
You know, before I left I thought cruises were all about relax and sleeping and sun bathing and swimming in the pool.
I couldn't be more wrong. I mean, sure you can do anything but relax and all that, but truth is it can be boring on the long run.
We actually stayed aboard only on Monday, when the ship was in Naples, but after that, we went ashore on exursion every day in a different city, and almost every excursion we chose was in the morning, so no sleeping through the morning for us. On the contrary!
Wednesday morning, when we were visiting Tunis we actually had the meeting point at 7:30 a.m. LOL yeah, I know.
It was so much fun though. I have to say I always had my doubts about cruises, you know, thinking about staying on the ship the whole time, but I'm glad I've been proved wrong.
I've been in 5 different cities - Palermo, Tunis, Palma de Mallorca, Barcelona and Marseille (Em I SO thought of you while I was there!!) - and 4 different countries - Italy, Tunisia, Spain and France.
Fascinating countries, all of them, but if I have to pick one as my fave I'm gonna say Spain. People are so NICE! It's warm but not too hot, Barcelona is so FULL of history and art and last but not least, you can go shopping without getting grumpy about how much money you spent, because it's cheap. I can't say the same for France, though. Damn they're expensive!
So yeah, I'm definitely planning on going back to Spain as soon as I can and take the right amount of time to visit the city properly.

I made like TONS of pictures but I'll be posting just a bunch of them, because they're really a lot and because I'm lazy :D
AND, since photobucket apparently HATES me, I'm uploading them on couple of facebook album. And I actually had to use two albums cause I uploaded something like 120 pics. Considering I took over 700, that's almost 1/3 of the total LOL

As for my getting-back-to-reality process..I'm starting this new little job on Monday. well actually I'm going to meet my 'boss' tomorrow afternoon with the girl I'm going to be the sostitute of. Nothing too exciting, really.. I'll be sort of babysitting a couple of kids, take them after school, make them lunch and take them to the sports centre in the afternoon.
Nothing exciting, as I said. But it's still work, they pay me (quite well actually) and I can be out of the house for 3 afternoons a week, which is SO good giving my mom's grumpiness lately.

It's vacation time for me, finally!!!
I'm leaving tomorrow morning for a cruise on the Mediterranean. We (me and a friend) will be visiting southern Italy, Tunisia, Spain and France.
8 days of complete and utter relax! Yay!
I'll be posting tons of photos and videos as soon as I get back.

Be good while I'm away! LOL

PS: Ok so..I still haven't finished reading Breaking Dawn and I think won't read one more page until I get back from my vacation, 'cause I'm not taking it with me. My friend is waiting for the Italian version this fall so I don't want to take the risk and spoil her by mistake.
I'll be taking Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead, though. Thanks EM!!! Love youuuuu!!

I just can't believe it yet, I need some extra time to process the whole thing in my head without panicking or hyperventilating or something like that, like I've done in the past 15 minutes or so.
Have I ever told you how much..HOW FREAKING MUCH I LOVE my country??
I mean, seriously! And the most amazing thing of all is that..since we have a few hours difference from the US..the movie will hit cinemas HERE before it will in the US!

I can't even concentrate!

I was meaning to post something about my first impressions on the first half of Breaking Dawn today, then I found out THIS and..really, people! it's like I don't even know my name anymore LOL I had to call a couple of friends and give 'em the GOOD news. It doesn't really matter that one of them is actually the same friend (keitmi ) I'm going to spend the week-end with and that I'll meet her in exactly 9 hours..which reminds me that I probably should have been in bed half an hour ago since I have a train to catch early in the morning and it's about midnight now.

Btw, I guess that BD-impressions post will have to wait until I get back on Sunday night. Oh and of course there'll be a LOT OF RANTING - you've been warned - about this other little thing a.k.a. Midnight Sun and its non-publising. Which sucks, big time *frowns*

Ok, so I still haven't gotten my copy of Breaking Dawn, so yeah, the hiatus thing still stands.

I'm posting because I just wanted to let you all know whan an AMAZING LJ (soon-to-be in person!) FRIEND I have!!
*drums roll*
I'm super HAPPY because Em (inthevast) has like..just taken a train to come and see me!
I mean, seriously! You know she was in Paris the last month (you knew, right?) and she came to Italy to pay a little visit to Rome and a few other cities..well..she's been awesome enough to catch a train from Bari just an hour ago and I'll go fetch her at the station in the morning! *_*
I'm excited beyond belief and I can't wait to finally see her and give her a big bear hug!

First of all I want to wish a HAPPY NEW YEAR to all my f-list!

We're almost there..Christmas is coming and  I'm really happy cause I managed to have all done in time and I'm all fuzzy with holiday spirit!

Decorate the tree, check.
Christmas cakes, check.
Buying (ALL) the gifts, check.

Plus, my VM Secret Santa task is almost acomplished! Yay! Told you I was this deep into holiday spirit LOL

I have to rant a bit, though..
A few hours from Christmas (my favourite holiday ever) and I'm stuck with a terrible cold! I mean, seriously! Come on! i was perfectly fine yesterday night when I went to bed, and this morning I woke up with a scratchy throat, coughing like mad. Not to mention a reasonable difficulty at breathing properly. God I hate feeling feverish! On the bright side, my mom doesn't bug me with 'do this' and 'fix that' LOL which, believe me is gold!
Well, actually this isn't going to be a real HAPPY Christmas anyway. My grandpa has a surgery procedure fixed in between Christmas and new year's eve, probably on Dec 29 and we're all a bit  shaken. He keeps on saying it's nothing to worry about, bu obviously we worry, a lot.

Btw, I really hope veryone of you has a GREAT Christmas, full of gifts and sweets! Stay cool, see you all in a few days!

Yesterday I hade NO time to ran through my f-list as I usually try to do day by day, so today when i did..I found a bunch of AMAZING dedications for my birthday.
I wanna thank every single one of you guys, so here it goes.

Bad, bad Ellie! it's been a month, people! A whole month without posting. I'm seriously a wreck. LOL
I have papers to do. Both for school and for work, I'm stressed out and winter's coming. I'm cold and I'm feeling like ranting on and on LOL
No, you don't have to listen to me ranting. Actually I'm going to make a semi-serious post here, so please don't give up on me :D

If that's not enough, my TV schedule was really lame lately. No scratch that, my TV schedule suck (not in quality but in quantity).
At the moment my schedule features:

• Moonlight (D/L)
  
• Supernatural (D/L)
  
• Criminal Minds (on TV)
• CSI, CSI: Miami (on TV)
• Heroes (D/L, but I still have to watch season 1 finale, so SHHH!!)
  

I had to do something, so I picked up three different new shows and D/L the pilots.
I just want to give them a shot and see if there's really something left to watch on tv beyond reality shows and political debates.
I picked:

• Studio 60 on the sunset strip (D/Led the pilot. Still have to watch it)
  
• Gossip Girl (Watched the first two eps)
  
• Dirt (D/Led the pilot. Still have to watch it)

I'm also going to make a MOVIE post later this week. I've been going to the movies a lot lately so I have a few films to review. And i still need to fix my wishlists, which i'm also hoping to post sometime in between office and RL issues.

So that's all (Miranda Priestly inflection intended) for now. I'll catch up with you asap!

That’s it..after almost a month full of N O T H I N G, I’m finally leaving on vacation tomorrow night.

I wanted to do a lot of things since the last time I posted. Like..writing something about the ‘Order of the Phoenix’ and ‘Deathly Hallows’, I was meaning to dedicate some time to my domain, revamping a few layouts, maybe even refresh my LJ style a bit, finishing a batch of icons..and I ended up doing absolutely nothing.
Work stole all my time, tiredness and boredom did the rest. I can’t wait to relax a bit, enjoy some time a the beach, don’t have to worry about a single thing.
I kind of disappeared, maybe you were worried..or don’t even care and that’s fine, I don’t blame you. ;)

So yes, vacation time, pictures will be on their way to lj if I'll manage to get back here before work eats me alive again.

PS: Morly, hon..I'm bringing Twilight on vacation with me..I'm definitely gonna read it while I'm sun bathing somewhere :D
