New Year, old habits
Hi folks!
First of all I want to wish a HAPPY NEW YEAR to all my f-list!
And second I feel like saying a huge THANK YOU ! You've been so kind and supportive and I appreciated it.

My Grandpa is doing really fine after the surgery. They made it in a day-hospital procedure, so he was home for New Year's Eve and it was cool. We were so worried before the operation but since everyting went fine and he was recovering really fast my dad decided to go visit our relavives in the South of Italy for a few days. His mother's not doing so fine lately so he wanted to spend some time with her. My Granpa (my dad's dad) died three years ago, on Christmas Eve and she's been alone since then. She's obviously been taken care of from my dad's brothers and sisters since then but it's not easy.

Ok, now I'm done with the sad part of this post. Gosh, my mum snores, pretty hard LOL I realized it when I slept with her when my dad was away and I didn't want to leave her alone. As a result, I barely slept cause as I already said..she SNORES! LOL
I am never ever going to sleep in the same room with her again!

I already said something like this, but now I'm really willing to do it so..A movie/book post, is on its way, not right now cause I'm really too tired, but definitely this upcoming week.
I had a lot of time for reading/watching movies when I was sick during the holidays, so I have a lot to talk about and maybe rant a bit LOL
Morly ([info]smores100) will be SO proud of me (won't you honey?) cause I finally read Twilight, New Moon and I just bought Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer.
And just so you know it with a little bit of advance..I'm going to probably go against some of the people's choice actor/actresses for some characters on upcoming movies based on novels (yeah I'm talking about Twilight saga, The time traveler's wife and such). Sorry.
So keep in touch! ;)

Feel: tired

Hey sweetheart! I'm really glad to hear your grampa is doing well! I've been thinking about you and really missing you! (=

Aww Jen I've been missing you so much!
I wrote you an e-mail a little before Christmas..probably you didn't get it *stupid e-mail!*
Uhm, btw your 2008 goals post was so much fun to read. (Everytime I see that header I go nuts. Thank God for giving us Jared and his abs. *bows*)
As for Pilates I think it's hard, but really helps keeping in shape. I never tried yoga though.

HI BABY!!! No no, no email from you!!! -kicks email- Darn it. (= Thanks for thinking of me, though, sweetie.

-grinning- I figured the goals thing would be pretty darn boring to anyone but me. Can I just tell you a secret, love? I'm really excited about the 'stairs' part of this new years challenge. The thing is, you can only count the stairs you walk up (not the downs) and I'm already well over 1000 within the first week of setting the goal. I guess I never realized how many steps we walk up in our daily life!

And oi, sweetie, I'm about as graceful as... well, as my last post said, an elephant on rollerblades. Which is why the Pilates and Yoga thing have always been something I've been interested in, but never really... you know, been much good at? Running, running I can do. It's like walking only faster. =P The stand tall like a tree and raise one foot off the ground flamingo style kind of thing? Not so much.

-hugggggs you tighttttt- Yes, God bless God for Jared Padalecki. And God bless Jared, too! And God bless God for bringing you to me, and God bless YOU.

That's the worse part of it all, I guess. it took me like..7/8 meetings to do a damn thing right, but it works like magic on your glutes LOL My friend was going to kill me though. She's not that much into coordination LOL
I guess it's easier for me because I was a classic dancer so the whole coordination thing kind of comes naturally.
But I quote you on the stairs. The amount of stairs we walk up everyday is unbelievable. At the house we have both an indoor and a outdoor staircase so unless it's raining (like now) I go up and down both in or out lots of times. See my bedroom is upstairs where my grans live, but I spend most of the time downstairs. But it never occurred to me thinking about how many ups I do LOL
Let's make a deal..I'll go with the Pilates/Yoga part of the goal and you do the running. My left knee is kind of playing tricks on me since last year so the running isn't really my best shot. Ok?
Bike, that I absolutely can do (if only it'd stop raining *frowns*)!

And God bless God for bringing you to me, and God bless YOU.

See, you always manage to make me feel special even if I don't think I am. *hugs* Thank you!

éS: now that I think about it..I guess my e-mail never made its way to you 'cause of my account. I might have used my old one, my crappy old one, instead of gmail.
Well I'll get back to you soon then. Or you can write to me if you're bored or you just feel like it ;)

Yes it is! :D
He even tried to teach me this super-complicate cards game since we were both stuck in the house during the holidays. Mewh..still learning.
Thank you *hugs back*

Happy New Year! That's great news that your grandpa's surgery went well - i'm glad he's doing better now.

And yay for reading Twilight and New Moon! Hopefully you'll enjoy Eclipse too once you've read it :)

I'm sure I will enjoy the book. Sure thing is I liked Twilight a lot more than New Moon (uhm, maybe its lack of Edward did the trick LOL) though.

Happy New Year yourself! ;D

My Mom snores LIKE A FREIGHT TRAIN and so does my Dad, so I'm so glad I'm older now and even if we do go on vacation together, I would have my own room down the hall or on another floor, hopefully!

I'm glad your Grandfather was home on NYE and your Dad got to go see his Mom. *hugs*

Thank you Anita! *hugs back*
Ditto on snoring parents! This summer I had to share the room with my cousin, thank God and she doesn't snore at all, and she stays on her side of the bed too :D
